Quiet power. Steady presence.

I’m Tish Bairi, the founder of Stillwake Coaching.
Certified Trauma-Informed Coach, trained through The Centre for Healing (2026).I didn’t have language for this work at first, but I knew it intuitively. I was an overthinker and deeply self aware. That mix of self awareness, trauma, and emotional intensity was seen as a curse, by me and by people around me.I started writing when I was 11, in a traumatized state. Writing was my way home, my therapy, and the way I learned to process myself and the world.I felt and knew many of these principles inherently, since I was very small. Hypervigilance was a trauma response, without question. What I sensed about the human condition was real, even when I was taught to doubt it, especially about myself. For most of my life, I thought something was wrong with me. I could feel when something wasn’t safe or aligned, but I learned to stay quiet. I lived in my head, trying to think my way out of pain instead of letting myself feel it.It wasn’t until I hit a real rock bottom, the loneliest point of my life, that something shifted. I thought the pain might break me. It did not.I stayed.
I felt it in my body instead of running from it.
I came out stronger.Finding people who echoed back what I had been screaming inside for years changed me. I am grateful for them. I am honored to have learned, and to have what I always knew reflected back to me.We are not broken.
We are inherently good.Stillwake grew from this. Not from fixing myself, but from learning how to stay with myself. From learning how to listen to my body instead of fighting it.

You do not change by forcing yourself to be different. It starts with steadiness, and learning to calm your body, and stay present, and choose how to respond, rather than react.
Stillwake Coaching is a presence based process and a practice. It is about learning how to pause instead of react. Settling your nervous system enough to think clearly before responding, instead of living from impulse. Not every feeling needs action.
Not every trigger needs a reaction. This clarity helps you tell the difference between what is actually unsafe and what just feels intense in the moment. From that place, you can respond wisely instead of from old patterns or fear. This work is body based. Your nervous system responds before your thoughts catch up. When your body feels unsafe, your mind looks for a story to match the sensation.A lot of what we call personality is actually survival. Patterns like people pleasing, over explaining, shutting down, staying hyper independent, or exploding under pressure formed to keep you safe when you did not have better options. Those patterns once helped you survive. They do not always help you feel safe now.We learn how to notice these adaptive responses in your body as they happen. Not to shame them. Not to force them away. But to slow down enough to give yourself more choice in the moment.Often, we react to things that are not what we think they are. Sometimes what someone says is not what they meant. Sometimes we are hearing through old patterns, not what is actually being said. When you pause, get curious, and ask questions instead of assuming, more becomes possible. You do not have to explode. You do not have to override yourself. You get to choose how, and if, you respond. This work is for women who want change but do not always know what is wrong, and do not want to be rushed into answers. Sometimes you just need space to talk, to be seen clearly, and to let your body settle enough to feel what is actually true. This is not woo hoo encouragement.
No forced positivity.
No just smile advice. It is grounded, trauma informed, body based support that helps you slow down, notice survival patterns as they arise, and choose differently, so you can build a life that actually feels safer and more livable.Quiet power.
Steady presence.
